As part of regional cooperation, and the collaboration achieved via the Erasmus+ program, a delegation led by the Dean of the Military Academy visited the N. Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria, from December 18 to 22, 2023.
During the visit, representatives of the Military Academy had the opportunity to participate in activities related to education and training, as well as to hold meetings with the leadership of the Naval Military Academy, exploring possibilities for expanding and broadening the already established collaboration. During the discussions, the Dean of the Military Academy emphasized the opportunities offered by the new Institute for Cyber Security within the institution and the Cyber Security Center at the Naval Military Academy. As part of the visit, the team from the Military Academy also visited the facilities of the Naval Military Academy dedicated to teaching, training, and simulation exercises, exchanging ideas for improving conditions at both institutions and modernizing the education process as a whole.
The Naval Military Academy is one of the long-standing, loyal partners of the Military Academy, mainly in accordance with the NATO Defense education enhancement program (NATO DEEP) and the European Union programs focusing on exchange through Erasmus+ for students and professors with the aim of education and training, participation in annual events of both institutions, as well as a general commitment to the development of regional cooperation in the field of higher military education.
