Starting today, March 13, 2024, a team of professors from the Military Academy will conduct a workshop in the field of open-source intelligence with experts in information technology from several state institutions in Chișinău, Moldova.
In times of information warfare, with the increasing development of new technologies, the digitization of every aspect of daily life and work, and the growing need for verified, truthful information, training in open-source intelligence is of strategic importance for professionals in the field of information technology.

- In response to the ongoing threats in the field of cyber security and the need to address them by institutions, the Military Academy organized a two-day exercise (TTX - Table Top Exercise) in Chisinau, Moldova, from March 11-12, 2024, gathering experts in the field of cyber security, as well as communicators and public relations personnel from numerous institutions in the country.
- On February 27, 2024, an official visit was made by the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Martin Pamer, and the Military Attaché, Colonel Christian Smutek. During the visit, specific activities to be realized in 2024 were discussed. Among the key joint activities discussed are: -The Regional Course for Strategic Leadership, which is being realized for the third consecutive year with the support of the Austrian National Defense Academy. -Joint activities with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) and the Austrian National Defense Academy.
- On February 7th, the Military Academy hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, His Excellency Mr. András Klein, and the Hungarian defence, military, and air attaché, Lieutenant Colonel László Nádash. At the beginning of the discussion, the ambassador emphasized that the purpose of his visit to the Military Academy was the initiative of the renowned National University of Public Service from Budapest to establish cooperation with a high educational institution from the Western Balkans, especially in the field of cybersecurity. In this regard, the Military Academy has been recognized as a leader in the field of cybersecurity in the region, and they expressed interest in jointly organizing activities for training personnel, as well as exchanging students and professors in that field.

- The Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" - Skopje participated in the third transnational meeting organized within the framework of the SETOFF project (Smart Education and Training Program For central and local government servants: Embrace vulnerability as our greatest and innovative tools For risk management) on January 22 and 23, 2024 in Brussels, Belgium.
- From 10–13 December 2023, the final transnational meeting of Erasmus+KA220 was implemented in Tokat, R. Turkey, organised by Turkiye partner - Tokat Milli Piyango Varhya Balak Fen Lisesi! The activity started with a warm welcome from our Turkish host as well as a presentation on the beauty of Tokat. During the Transnational Meeting, project activities were discussed as well as other activities to be completed by the end of the project, including the final report. Additionally, the progress of the sustainability and dissemination plan was presented and discussed.

- The Military Academy, in collaboration with representatives from partner organizations within the SETOFF project from Belgium, Greece, and Spain had the opportunity to exchange experiences, knowledge, and ideas during the regular partner meeting held at the organization of the Military Academy from December 3 to 6, 2023, in Ohrid. The main goal of the SETOFF project is to improve readiness and safety in crisis management and protection and rescue sectors, as well as to incorporate the private sector into the process of dealing with future crises and emergencies through the development of an innovative e-learning curriculum based on a successfully tested and implemented simulation model, combined with the latest scientific knowledge and comprehensive analysis of training and educational needs.
- During the period of November 20-21, 2023, at RACVIAC - Center for Security Cooperation, the workshop titled "Challenges and Requirements for Effective Cyber Security in SEE," marked the initiation of the project "Strengthening the Resilience of SEE in Cyber Security Against Hybrid Threats." This workshop was organized collaboratively by the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" and RACVIAC - the Center for Security Cooperation, drawing participation from 6 distinguished lecturers and 20 attendees representing countries in Southeast Europe. Notably, the Republic of North Macedonia was represented by Colonel prof. Dr. Sc. Mitko Bogdanoski, Brigadier General prof. Dr. Sc Metodi Hadji-Janev,and Lieutenant Colonel prof. Dr. Sc Dimitar Bogatinov, who led various panels.
