On February 27, 2024, an official visit was made by the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Martin PAMMER, and the Military Attaché, Colonel Christian SMUTEK. During the visit, specific activities to be realized in 2024 were discussed.
Among the key joint activities discussed are:
- The Regional Course for Strategic Leadership, which is being realized for the third consecutive year with the support of the Austrian National Defense Academy.
- Joint activities with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) and the Austrian National Defense Academy.
Generally, as key activities and areas for future cooperation, the exchange of cadets and professors was highlighted, specifically, participation of cadets from the Austrian Military Academy in the international security project "Summer Campus", exchange of cadets for a one-semester stay through the Erasmus+ program, as well as the exchange of professors from both institutions for guest lectures. Additionally, cooperation and exchange in the field of cyber security were discussed.
