Faculty of Medicine (FM) is one of the 27 th Faculties at University of Ljubljana. It is divided into division on undergraduate and postgraduate studies as well as on a section for general medicine and dental medicine. Both segments, undergraduate and postgraduate education programs are extended for students. Undergraduate study of medicine and medical dentistry is carried out in accordance with the national program of higher education, and lasts for 6 years.
Classes take place in the teaching and research institutions. Graduates earned the title of doctor of medicine and doctor of dental medicine. MF carried out post-graduate programs leading to specialization, master’s degree and doctorate of science. In addition, the FM is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at other universities and colleges of the University of Ljubljana. MF carries out scientific research programs as a condition of educational work and scientific work in accordance with the program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Participating in domestic and foreign scientific projects. MF is involved in international cooperation programs of medical disciplines.
