During the period of May 7th to May 11th, 2024, high-ranking leaders from military and defense educational institutions from around the world gathered at the National Defense University in Washington D.C. for the first time in the USA. The event was actively attended by the Dean of the Military Academy, Colonel Dr. Mitko Bogdanoski, a regular professor. Opening remarks at the event were delivered by the Commandant of NATO Defense College in Rome, Lieutenant General Maks Nilssen, the Commandant of the National Defense University of the USA, Lieutenant General Michael Plehn, as well as the Chief of Staff of the Allied Command Transformation, Vice Admiral Gai Robinson.

Representatives from the Military Academy actively participated in the info day of NATO's Science for Peace and Security programme, held on 28 March 2024 organised by the Ministry of Defence. Panellists of activity from the Military Academy were Prof. Dr. Sc. Dimitar Bogatinov, Lieutenant Colonel and assistant professor Dr. Sc. Vesna Poposka, who shared experiences at the Military Academy, as the institution with the greatest experience and the largest number of sponsored projects and activities from this NATO programme.

On February 27, 2024, an official visit was made by the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Martin Pamer, and the Military Attaché, Colonel Christian Smutek. During the visit, specific activities to be realized in 2024 were discussed. Among the key joint activities discussed are: -The Regional Course for Strategic Leadership, which is being realized for the third consecutive year with the support of the Austrian National Defense Academy. -Joint activities with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) and the Austrian National Defense Academy.

On February 7th, the Military Academy hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, His Excellency Mr. András Klein, and the Hungarian defence, military, and air attaché, Lieutenant Colonel László Nádash. At the beginning of the discussion, the ambassador emphasized that the purpose of his visit to the Military Academy was the initiative of the renowned National University of Public Service from Budapest to establish cooperation with a high educational institution from the Western Balkans, especially in the field of cybersecurity. In this regard, the Military Academy has been recognized as a leader in the field of cybersecurity in the region, and they expressed interest in jointly organizing activities for training personnel, as well as exchanging students and professors in that field.
