Dear educators, teachers in primary and secondary education, and professors in higher education. Dear youth workers, representatives of organizations working with children and youth, representatives of organizations focused on improving education, as well as other representatives of the civil sector.
It is our honor to invite you to join us in creating the first National Center for Internet Safety for Children and Youth – MkSafeNet. Our goal is to collectively contribute to raising awareness about the risks the internet poses to children and youth and to protect them in the digital space.
To make our work more successful, we need comprehensive informative and educational materials, which we hope to gather with your help through this call and which will serve as a permanent knowledge base.
This MkSafeNet knowledge base will ensure that children and youth have free and unlimited access to educational materials, informative and interactive resources, all in one place. These materials will help create safer online experiences and provide knowledge and information to those who care for and work with them. The knowledge base will also serve to inform and educate parents, guardians, teachers, educators, and other actors working with children and youth.
How can you contribute?
If, over the past five years, you have developed materials where you or your institution are the author or co-author and you wish to share them with your colleagues under a Creative Commons (CC) license, please complete the form below. More About the Project
The main goal of the MkSafeNet project is to strengthen national capacities to provide advice and support to children, youth, parents/guardians, teachers, the education sector, and other stakeholders on issues related to children’s use of digital technologies and services. The project also aims to enhance support for victims of cyberbullying.
MkSafeNet will be implemented over an 18-month period and includes a study with an action plan outlining the specific responsibilities of each involved actor, the establishment of an awareness center for online threats, a Helpline, a youth panel, and an advisory board.
The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Digital Europe (DEP) program and the National Funds of the Republic of North Macedonia.
