The Military Academy as Part of INNOFEIT EDIH: Supporting Digital Transformation
On January 29, 2025, the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski”– Skopje participated in the kick-off meeting of the European Digital Innovation Hub INNOFEIT (EDIH), funded through the “DIGITAL-2023-EDIH-04” call. The project is aimed at supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Public Sector Organizations (PSOs) in their digital transformation and enhancing their competitiveness.
INNOFEIT EDIH focuses on manufacturing, agriculture, smart buildings, and energy, offering services such as prototyping, testing, and training to foster innovation and digital processes. The project also supports public administration through data-driven decision-making and contributes to digital and green transitions.
The Military Academy will contribute its expertise in cybersecurity, strengthening digital resilience across institutions through training, testing, and the development of security solutions.
As part of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) network, the project provides access to cutting-edge technologies and resources, reinforcing the innovation ecosystem and fostering international collaboration in digital transformation.
In addition to the "General Mihailo Apostolski" Military Academy – Skopje, the project partners include INNOFEIT (Coordinator) – Center for Technology Transfer and Innovation, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at UKIM, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies at UKLO, the University "Goce Delchev" – Shtip (UGD), Solveo LLC – Strategic Design and Innovation Consulting, the Chamber of Commerce of North Macedonia, the Macedonian Association of Processors, Interspace – an industrial partner for advanced infrastructure, Mikrosam – a leader in manufacturing technologies, and Kontron – a leader in technologies and digital solutions. This collaboration enables the creation of a sustainable digital ecosystem, contributing to the advancement of the economy and the public sector.
