During 16-20- th December 2024, a meeting was held in Skopje for ERASMUS+ KA210-ADU - Project No. 2022-1-TR01-KA210-ADU- 000084905 on the topic: “Integration through social and digital learning”. Participants in the meeting were: Republic of Turkey, organization Beytüşşebap Halk Eğitim Merkezi Müdürlüğü as the main coordinator of the project, Republic of France, organization Comité de Liaison Diagonal France, Military Academy – General “Mihajlo Apostolski” Skopje (host partner) and Republic of Spain, Asociación para el Desarrollo socioemocional de la persona, la sociedad y para la cooperación Internacional Uno (partner).
On the 17-th December from 10:00-14.00h, the participants visited the Military Academy “Gen. Mihailo Apostolski” in Skopje, where MA Sasha Smileski, assistant, captain, gave a short presentation of the activities of the Military Academy with an emphasis on international cooperation and ongoing international projects, most of which are supported by the European Union.
The project participants spoke about the evaluation of the project and future activities. The participants made a final evaluation of the project report (Project report – Handbook) and unanimously decided that it should be submitted as the final project report for the completed project.
The second day, December 18-th, from 10:00-14:30h, the participants had the opportunity to visit the humanitarian organization “St. Spas” in Macedonia. The project partners first got acquainted with the infrastructure facilities and capabilities of this humanitarian organization: food storage facilities (warehouses), a kitchen for food preparation and points to which it is transported and distributed the food.
The activities of this humanitarian organization consist of providing food and delivering it to people which are registered as: homeless, people at social risk, migrants, refugees and other people which need humanitarian care and support regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliation.
On the third day, December 19-th from 11:00-14:00h, the project participants took a cultural tour through the Turkish Bazaar. Here they had the opportunity to visit and briefly hear the history of: Murat Pasha Mosque, the grave of Goce Delchev in the church "St. Spas", Military Museum and Kursumli An within the Museums of Macedonia, a visit to the Turkish Bazaar and its cultural landmarks, flea market and the memorial house of Mother Teresa. On the same day, from 18:00 to 20:30h, the project partners in accordance with the schedule of activities, got acquainted with the Skopje Rufai Tekke, whose history, activities and its cultural heritage were presented to them by Sheikh Murtezan Murtezani.
After this event, the VI-th International project meeting of the ISDL Project ended and fulfilled the goals and guidelines for the upcoming event. We express our gratitude to all participants, partner organizations and individuals who contributed to the success of this international meeting in Skopje.
We also express our gratitude to the host organizations and institutions for their warm hospitality and support. With this meeting, the ISDL project ended and fully met the necessary expectations.
