Successful completion of the course, titled "Risk Management for a Safe Cyberspace"

From October 14 to October 17, 2024, a course was held at the Ludovika University in Budapest, organized by Ludovika University - Budapest, the General Mihailo Apostolski Military Academy, and the University of Montenegro from Podgorica. The course, titled "Risk Management for a Safe Cyberspace," was supported by the European Security & Defense College (ESDC) and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), both based in Brussels, Belgium.

Participants came from several European Union countries, including Greece, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, France, and Hungary. They had the opportunity to learn about the latest risks in cyberspace, information security systems, and approaches to managing the risks associated with securing information in such systems. The course topics were developed through interactive theoretical and practical sessions to enhance risk management skills during the implementation of cybersecurity measures.

In addition to contributing to the organization of the event, the Military Academy also provided two lecturers. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Bogatinov and M.Sc. Goce Stevanoski, from the Institute for Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, covered several key topics in information security management, emphasizing management methods and the role of staff at different levels and from various engagement perspectives. They also presented the cybersecurity ecosystem of the Western Balkans, highlighting the region's development, the threats it faces, and the measures countries in the Western Balkans are taking to address these challenges and strengthen their cybersecurity posture.
