From October 7 to 10, 2024, Ludovika University and the General Mihailo Apostolski Military Academy organized a course titled "Cyber Threat Management" at Ludovika University in Budapest. The European Security & Defense College (ESDC) and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), both based in Brussels, Belgium, supported the course.
Participants from several EU countries, including Portugal, Luxembourg, Latvia, Bulgaria, France, and Hungary, had the opportunity to gain experience with the latest cyber threats, significant incidents, and prevention methods. The course topics were presented through interactive theoretical and practical sessions to enhance participants' skills in implementing cybersecurity protection measures.
In addition to contributing to the event’s organization, the Military Academy also provided two lecturers: Prof. Dr. Kire Jakimovski and M.Sc. Goce Stevanoski from the Institute for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. They covered two key topics, offering a technical analysis of modern cyber threats and incidents, and laying the groundwork for further training in applying various threat management and incident response controls.
