For the second time, the Military Academy hosted the Course on acquainting with the Common Security and Defense Policy of the European Union, this time with the physical presence of participants during the period from October 9-13, 2023, in Ohrid. The event was organized in cooperation with the European College of Security and Defense, the Austrian National Defense Academy, and RACVIAC.
The discussions during the event contributed to a better understanding of the EU security and defense policy. Since the establishment of the Common Security and Defense Policy of the EU in June 1999, prominent military and civilian experts, police officers, and soldiers have tirelessly worked to promote peace and security in over 30 missions, keeping in mind that the EU's first mission, Concordia, was deployed in the Republic of North Macedonia on March 31, 2003.
This is the second joint activity of the Military Academy with the European College of Security and Defense since the beginning of the cooperation between the two institutions, with a tendency to expand the scope of activities, especially in areas crucial for security and defense, and utilizing the expertise offered by both institutions and their partner organizations.
