Students and high school participants of the 4th NATO Academy, organized by the non-governmental organization Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia (ATA) in Macedonia, visited the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" - Skopje. During the visit, they were given a brief presentation about the Military Academy, its history, mission, and significance as the only military educational institution in the country, dedicated to the education and development of future leaders and professionals in the field of defense.

From October 14 to October 17, 2024, a course was held at the Ludovika University in Budapest, organized by Ludovika University - Budapest, the General Mihailo Apostolski Military Academy, and the University of Montenegro from Podgorica. The two-day Regional Workshop titled “Individual and Regionally-Based Cyber and Hybrid Threats and Challenges in South East Europe” took place in Tirana, Albania, October 2-3, 2024. Organized by RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation, the Ministry of Defense of Albania, and the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” from Skopje, the event is part of the broader initiative “Strengthening SEE Resilience in Cyber Security Against Hybrid Threats.” The Workshop was officially opened by H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie, Director of RACVIAC, Mr. Dorian Tola, Deputy Minister of Defense of Albania, and LTC prof. Dr. Sc. Dimitar Bogatinov, representing the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski.”

Regional Strategic Leadership Course Module 2 Kicks Off in Ohrid

The second module of the Regional Strategic Leadership Course (RSLC), co-organized by the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” and the National Defence Academy Austria, officially began in Ohrid, supported by the Ministry of Defence. Running from September 16 to 20, the course focuses on key regional and global security challenges, with the participation of national high-level representatives from different institutions as well as those from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. During the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Sc. Mitko Bogdanoski, Colonel, Dean of the Military Academy, delivered opening remarks that underscored the significance of collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing. He emphasized that the diverse participation is essential for addressing the complex security issues faced by the region.
