The second module of the Regional Strategic Leadership Course (RSLC), co-organized by the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” and the National Defence Academy Austria, officially began in Ohrid, supported by the Ministry of Defence. Running from September 16 to 20, the course focuses on key regional and global security challenges, with the participation of national high-level representatives from different institutions as well as those from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia.
During the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Sc. Mitko Bogdanoski, Colonel, Dean of the Military Academy, delivered opening remarks that underscored the significance of collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing. During the period of May 7th to May 11th, 2024, high-ranking leaders from military and defense educational institutions from around the world gathered at the National Defense University in Washington D.C. for the first time in the USA. The event was actively attended by the Dean of the Military Academy, Colonel Dr. Mitko Bogdanoski, a regular professor.
Opening remarks at the event were delivered by the Commandant of NATO Defense College in Rome, Lieutenant General Maks Nilssen, the Commandant of the National Defense University of the USA, Lieutenant General Michael Plehn, as well as the Chief of Staff of the Allied Command Transformation, Vice Admiral Gai Robinson.

Representatives from the Military Academy actively participated in the info day of NATO's Science for Peace and Security programme, held on 28 March 2024 organised by the Ministry of Defence.
