A Military Academy Team Conducts a Three-day Workshop on Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova

Starting today, March 13, 2024, a team of professors from the Military Academy will conduct a workshop in the field of open-source intelligence with experts in information technology from several state institutions in Chișinău, Moldova. In times of information warfare, with the increasing development of new technologies, the digitization of every aspect of daily life and work, and the growing need for verified, truthful information, training in open-source intelligence is of strategic importance for professionals in the field of information technology.

Start of a two-day exercise in the field of cyber security and crisis communication organized by the Military Academy

In response to the ongoing threats in the field of cyber security and the need to address them by institutions, the Military Academy organized a two-day exercise (TTX - Table Top Exercise) in Chisinau, Moldova, from March 11-12, 2024, gathering experts in the field of cyber security, as well as communicators and public relations personnel from numerous institutions in the country.

Official visit by the delegation of the Ambassador and the Military Attaché from the Republic of Austria

On February 27, 2024, an official visit was made by the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Martin Pamer, and the Military Attaché, Colonel Christian Smutek. During the visit, specific activities to be realized in 2024 were discussed. Among the key joint activities discussed are: -The Regional Course for Strategic Leadership, which is being realized for the third consecutive year with the support of the Austrian National Defense Academy. -Joint activities with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) and the Austrian National Defense Academy.

VISIT OF THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF HUNGARY TO THE MILITARY ACADEMY

On February 7th, the Military Academy hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, His Excellency Mr. András Klein, and the Hungarian defence, military, and air attaché, Lieutenant Colonel László Nádash. At the beginning of the discussion, the ambassador emphasized that the purpose of his visit to the Military Academy was the initiative of the renowned National University of Public Service from Budapest to establish cooperation with a high educational institution from the Western Balkans, especially in the field of cybersecurity. In this regard, the Military Academy has been recognized as a leader in the field of cybersecurity in the region, and they expressed interest in jointly organizing activities for training personnel, as well as exchanging students and professors in that field.

FINAL TRANSNATIONAL MEETING OF ERASMUS+KA220 PROJECT "FUTURE CLASSROOMS' LEADERSHIP"

From 10–13 December 2023, the final transnational meeting of Erasmus+KA220 was implemented in Tokat, R. Turkey, organised by Turkiye partner - Tokat Milli Piyango Varhya Balak Fen Lisesi! The activity started with a warm welcome from our Turkish host as well as a presentation on the beauty of Tokat. During the Transnational Meeting, project activities were discussed as well as other activities to be completed by the end of the project, including the final report.  Additionally, the progress of the sustainability and dissemination plan was presented and discussed.
